LVP Flooring

The question we get most on LVP is what to expect on install day, and the good news is it's usually one of the quicker jobs we do. Before we start, our crew handles the big furniture — anything that takes two people to move — and we ask y'all to box up the small stuff so we can focus on the floor. If you've got existing tile, in most cases we can float the new LVP right over the top after we prep the surface and fill the grout lines. That saves you the demo, the dust, and the disposal fees, and you're back in the room a lot faster.

Picking the right LVP is where the showroom really pays off. SPC (stone-polymer core) is rigid, super dent-resistant, and our go-to for high-traffic areas or subfloors that aren't perfectly flat. WPC (wood-polymer core) feels a little softer and warmer underfoot and is quieter, so folks tend to like it in bedrooms and living areas. The wear layer is what actually determines how long the floor holds up — thicker wear layer, better durability. We carry a wide range at the showroom so you can see the difference in person, and we'll help you match a product to how y'all actually live.

Care on LVP is honestly the easiest part. A light damp mop, a Swiffer, a dust mop — that's really it. Stay away from acidic cleaners, bleach, or oils, because those can dull the finish over time. We use and recommend Bona, a water-based cleaner that's safe on any hard-surface floor. If you spill something, wipe it up when you see it and you're good.
