Bathroom Remodeling

The biggest question we get on a bathroom remodel is what the process actually looks like, because bathrooms are more involved than most folks realize. Here's how we run it: after design, our crew handles demo, and we cover the rest of your floors with ram board so nothing gets torn up in the process. If we need a plumber, an electrician, or a glass installer, we coordinate all of it — one point of contact, start to finish. Once we open the walls, the framing tells us what's really possible, and that's when we can talk about custom niches, reframing for a bigger shower, or moving fixtures.

Where a lot of the fun happens is the design decisions — tile, vanity, tub or shower, niches, fixtures. For flooring, porcelain tile is our workhorse in a bathroom because it's durable and water-resistant, and LVP is a great pick too because it's 100% waterproof and warmer underfoot. On the shower, you're not limited to a builder-grade niche — we can reframe for a taller one, a linear look, or size it to your shampoo bottles. Tub versus walk-in shower really comes down to how y'all use the room and resale — we usually recommend keeping at least one tub in the house. When you come by the showroom, we'll pull tile and vanity samples so you can see everything in person.

Care after the remodel is straightforward. Tile floors just need a dust mop or a light damp mop — we recommend Bona, a water-based cleaner that's safe on hard surfaces. Skip acidic cleaners on grout, because those wear it down over time. If we sealed the grout at install (we do), maintenance is real light.
