First thing I want folks to know: Pride Floors is a retail floor covering store. We sell a complete range of flooring products, including hardwood, tile, luxury vinyl plank, laminate, and carpet — and professional installation is available for all flooring purchased from our store for an additional charge. Same team from the showroom floor to your living room floor, materials and installation in one transparent quote, one point of contact, one warranty. That's the whole reason we do it this way — so we can stand behind the product and the install as one job.

So the number one question we get is what install day actually looks like. Here's how it goes: our crew moves the big furniture — anything that takes two people to lift — and we ask y'all to clear the small stuff (electronics, breakables, linens, toys, shoes) so we can focus on the floor. If there are trades involved — a plumber for an appliance, a carpenter for baseboards — we coordinate all of that so you're not calling five different people. And if we're working around floors that are staying, we cover them with ram board so all that traffic doesn't beat up what you already have.

Choosing between hardwood, tile, LVP, laminate, and carpet trips a lot of folks up, and that's honestly what the showroom is for. Hardwood gives you the classic look and it can last generations. Tile is a workhorse in wet or high-traffic areas. LVP is 100% waterproof and a great value that looks a lot like wood. Laminate is even friendlier on the budget and holds up great in dry rooms. Carpet is still king in bedrooms for softness and warmth. Once we understand how y'all live in your home — pets, kids, traffic patterns — we'll match you to the right product. And if you've got existing tile, in most cases we can install right over it.

Care and warranty are the two things folks ask about after install. On care, most hard-surface floors just need a dust mop, a Swiffer, or a light damp mop — we recommend Bona, a water-based cleaner that's safe on any hard surface. Skip acidic cleaners, bleach, or oils. On the warranty side, every install we do comes with our lifetime labor warranty, plus the manufacturer's warranty on the material itself.
